Job summary

Rocket Software is seeking a Customer Solutions Engineer to help design, scope, estimate, and deliver Customer Solutions Engineering (CSE) service opportunities. You will collaborate with Sales, Delivery, Product SMEs, and PMO to create estimates, SOWs, and service offerings that enable successful customer outcomes.

The role involves gathering information from multiple stakeholders, identifying risks, and translating business requirements into actionable solution proposals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Project Management, Professional Services Delivery, or related fields.
• 1+ years customer-facing experience.
• Experience gathering requirements and documenting business or technical needs.
• Ability to manage multiple work items across priorities and identify risks, assumptions, dependencies, exclusions, and open questions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and effective stakeholder management.
• Proficiency with collaboration tools and adapting to new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop service estimates, assumptions, risks, dependencies, exclusions, and pricing models for CSE engagements.
• Assist in creating and reviewing SOWs, proposals, service descriptions, and client-facing solution docs.
• Gather and organize business, technical, and operational requirements from customers and stakeholders.
• Participate in customer discovery calls and requirements discussions.
• Identify gaps and potential scope or delivery risks for senior review.
• Develop structured solution recommendations for senior review and refinement.
