Job summary

IBM Global Sales is seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer to bridge technical design with customer business needs. You will partner with Account Executives to act as a key technical advisor, surfacing business needs and delivering effective designs to enable value realization.

In this role you’ll facilitate discovery sessions, drive proofs of concept, and share best practices to elevate customers’ deployment maturity.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in Solutions Engineering or similar.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and data processing.
• Cloud deployment, migrations, and application development exposure.
• Proficiency in Java, Python or SQL; strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Advance data streaming use-cases from concept to Go-Live.
• Lead Technical Proofs of Concept and customer workshops.
• Conduct discovery and whiteboard sessions for new use-cases.
• Deliver technical talks and enablement workshops.
• Guide customers to operational maturity with best practices.
• Analyze consumption trends and identify optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product/Engineering and advocate for customers.
