Job summary

IBM Global Sales seeks Solutions Engineers to partner with Account Executives as the technical advisor, surface customers' business needs, and craft technical designs that enable adoption of Confluent's data streaming platform. You will lead discovery sessions, run proofs of concept, deliver talks and workshops, and help customers realize value through architecture and deployment maturity.

As a member of the Customer Success Team, you will build trusted relationships with stakeholders,

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Solutions Engineering or similar experience.
• Experience with event-driven architectures, data integration, and data warehousing.
• Exposure to cloud architecture, migrations, deployment, and app development.

Responsibilities

• Help advance new data streaming use-cases from conception to go-live.
• Lead technical proofs of concept.
• Conduct discovery and whiteboard sessions to develop use-cases.
• Deliver technical talks and workshops.
• Guide customers with hands-on help to improve deployment maturity.
• Analyze consumption trends and identify optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to advocate for customers.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
