Job summary

The Aebi Schmidt Group seeks a Client Segment Engineer in Bristol, IN to oversee the design, development, and customization of walk-in vans, truck bodies, and specialty vehicles. The role supports sales with technical guidance, ensures regulatory and safety compliance, and drives cost-efficient innovation.

The position requires 2+ years in engineering, strong CAD and ERP familiarity, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support product launches and customer engagements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in an engineering or technical field.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
• Comfortable with analytical and hands-on technical work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of SolidWorks 3-D CAD and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee product design, prototyping, testing, and production launch.
• Collaborate with sales, manufacturing, and supply chain to deliver customized solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and industry standards.
• Drive design process improvements, and cost control.
• Maintain relationships with external customers and support sales with technical/biz solutions.
• Serve as a technical advisor for regional sales teams.
