Job summary

F5 is seeking a Solutions Engineer to support the sales team with technical skills and deep knowledge of F5 solutions for our largest U.S. customers. The SE acts as a trusted adviser, presenting technical features and business benefits and driving opportunities in partnership with the Sales Account Manager.

You’ll design solutions, run proof of concepts and demonstrations, and map customer organizations to unlock technical decisions. Training is provided to stay current.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related industry experience.
• BS/BA or equivalent work experience.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Articulate the F5 product strategy and value propositions for customer objectives.
• Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, designs, demos and PoCs.
• Map organizational structure and identify technical decision makers.
• Drive sales opportunities with the Account Manager and secure sponsorship.
• Deliver world-class customer service throughout the life cycle.
• Collaborate with internal teams and share best practices as needed.
• Serve as a technical expert for F5 Distributed Cloud solutions and security.
