Job summary

Sonar is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our growing Solutions Engineering team. You will provide deep technical expertise to prospects, run demonstrations, and support evaluations across cloud and on‑prem deployments.

You’ll collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Development to shape our messaging and customer outcomes. You’ll work with prospects to map Sonar’s AC/DC approach into their software development lifecycle, troubleshoot challenges, and help customers realize

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development or DevOps to understand our products and how customers use them.
• Excellent presentation skills to demonstrate and explain complex tech to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues across customer environments.
• Comfort with both cloud and on-prem deployment discussions and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Help prospective customers understand how our AC/DC approach fits within their software development life cycle.
• Drive technical aspects of pre-sales by presenting and demonstrating the product and supporting evaluations.
• Advise customers on deployment strategies that align with Sonar solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems during customer evaluations.
• Ensure successful product adoption post-purchase by working with Customer Success and Support teams.
• Provide technical enablement to channel partners to raise service levels.
