Job summary

Fluency Digital, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Engineer to serve as the technical backbone of our sales motion.

You’ll run deep-dive demos, design proof-of-concept workloads around real customer pipelines, and help prospects untangle complex CI/CD architectures. You’ll spend time between customer conversations and hands-on tinkering—writing sample workflows, stress-testing edge cases, and feeding learnings back to engineering and product.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years in a customer-facing technical role.
• Fluency with Git and CI/CD platforms.
• Ability to read and write code in scripting languages.
• Willingness to be based in New York and on-site.
• Must be based in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Run deep-dive demos and design proof-of-concept workloads around real customer pipelines.

We’re rebuilding CI from the ground up — cutting GitHub Actions job times by orders of magnitude so engineering teams ship faster and iterate without friction. As a Solutions Engineer, you’ll be the technical backbone of our sales motion: running deep-dive demos, designing proof‑of‑concept workloads around real customer pipelines, and helping prospects untangle complex CI/CD architectures. You’ll spend your time between customer conversations and hands‑on tinkering — writing sample workflows, stress‑testing edge cases, and feeding everything you learn on the front lines back to engineering and product. This is a high‑ownership role at a growth‑stage company where the product is still young and your fingerprints will be all over how we scale the go‑to‑market engine.

What we're looking for:

• 4–8 years in a customer‑facing technical role — Solutions Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Customer Engineer, or similar — selling into software engineering teams
• Deep fluency with Git, CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Jenkins, or equivalent), and containerized build environments
• Comfortable reading and writing code in at least one scripting language (Python, TypeScript, Bash, or similar) to build demos and troubleshoot customer pipelines
• Strong executive presence and the ability to run a technical evaluation end‑to‑end — from discovery call to proof‑of‑concept to production rollout
• Based in or willing to relocate to New York; this is an on‑site role with a team that values whiteboard sessions, pairing, and in‑person collaboration
• Must be based in the United States.
