Forward Deployed Engineer (NYC, In-Person)

Realm are partnered with a well-funded, early-stage infrastructure startup hiring a highly technical Forward Deployed Engineer to own customer deployments from pilot to full production.

This is not a traditional Solutions Engineer role.

It’s deeply technical, hands‑on, and post‑sales focused.

What You’ll Do

• Own end‑to‑end onboarding and production implementations
• Work directly inside complex customer infrastructure environments
• Debug integrations, inspect logs, write scripts, and troubleshoot APIs
• Build internal tooling to accelerate deployment and calibration
• Partner closely with Product and Engineering on edge cases and fixes
• Ensure customers successfully move from pilot to production

You’ll operate as the technical bridge between product and real‑world systems.

What They’re Looking For

• Strong coding ability (Python, Go, or similar backend experience)
• Experience with APIs, cloud infrastructure, deployments, observability
• Builder mindset, excited by ambiguity and ownership
• Clear communicator who can explain technical issues simply
