Job summary

CaptiveAire is seeking an engineer to join its sales team, focusing on growing business with existing customers and developing new business. The role combines applications engineering, sales support and field service in a fast-paced environment.

The position includes extensive training, mentorship, and opportunities to pursue Professional Engineering licensing, with a strong emphasis on business development and sales strategies.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience required or equivalent in sales engineering or technical sales.
• Excellent computer, organizational and communication/presentation skills are essential.
• Strong customer interfacing and problem solving skills are expected.
• Willingness to travel and work in a fast-paced environment.
• FE Exam completion anticipated within 6 months of employment for engineering graduates.

Responsibilities

• Provide integrated application engineering and design support for ventilation projects.
• Engage with Engineers, Contractors, End Users and Food Service Dealers.
• Inside sales support, application engineering and outside sales.
• Deliver presentations, quotes, submittals and product demos.
• Develop new business opportunities with existing and new users.
