Job summary

Cayuse is seeking a Solutions Consultant Team Lead with hands-on experience in pre- and post-award research administration to guide customer-facing engagements and grow the Solutions Consulting team. This player-coach will deliver discovery, demonstrations, and solution validation while enhancing team expertise and execution.

The ideal candidate has worked in sponsored programs or research administration and can translate experience into compelling demonstrations that connect Cayuse capabilities

Qualifications

• 7+ years in research administration, sponsored programs, or solutions consulting.
• Hands-on pre- and post-award operations with exposure to research institutions.
• Experience presenting tailored demonstrations to researchers and administrators.
• Ability to translate complex workflows into clear explanations for diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and team activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre- and post-award solution engagements and discovery sessions.
• Deliver tailored demonstrations across proposal development, award management, and compliance workflows.
• Partner with sales to uncover problems and shape win themes.
• Conduct strategic presentations, proofs of concept, and solution validation.
• Provide accurate product-fit assessments and respond to RFPs/RFIs.
• Coach and coordinate the Solutions Consulting team and conduct reviews.
• Collaborate with Product, Implementations, and Success teams for go/no-go decisions.
• Maintain demo environments, assets, and CRM discipline.
• Share customer insights with Product and Sales for backlog and roadmap input.
• Lead onboarding, certifications, and scalable demo scenarios for the team.
