Job summary

Itron, Inc. is seeking a Solution Consultant who partners with Account Executives to deliver expert demonstrations and tailored solutions for Utilities & Energy customers.

The role drives discovery, defines solutions, and supports RFX, POCs, and workshops to translate customer needs into scalable offerings. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in enterprise SaaS, strong communication of complex concepts, and a collaborative mindset to work across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Solution Consultant, Sales Engineer, or Sales Consultant in an enterprise SaaS environment.
• Proven experience leading solution discovery, configuration, and tailored demonstrations.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a customer-centric way.
• Proven collaboration skills and cross-functional teamwork in fast-paced environments.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery engagements with structured plans and document findings for internal use.
• Translate discovery insights into comprehensive solution descriptions with product capabilities and deployment strategies.
• Contribute to RFX responses with tailored solution descriptions and technical overviews.
• Design and lead POCs and trial programs with clear objectives and success criteria.
• Deliver engaging, tailored demonstrations across the sales cycle and capture feedback for improvement.
