Job summary

Itron, Inc. is seeking an Electric Solution Consultant to lead discovery with Electric utility customers and translate requirements into actionable solutions.

You will deliver demonstrations, support POC engagements, and collaborate across Product, Marketing, and Sales to align offerings with customer needs. The role requires strong communication skills, a deep understanding of Electric utility operations, and willingness to travel up to 50% within assigned territories.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in solution consulting or similar for enterprise SaaS.
• Experience with utility organizations and technical sales.
• Strong ability to present to executives and stakeholders.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into actionable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery engagements with Electric utility customers to understand objectives and challenges.
• Develop discovery plans, document findings, and support internal teams.
• Translate requirements into solution recommendations aligned to product capabilities.
• Create proposals and response materials for RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and procurement activities.
• Deliver tailored product demonstrations for customer use cases and priorities.
• Design and support proof-of-concept engagements and trials.
