We’re looking for a Solutions Consultant to join our team in Alpharetta, GA or Remote, US. The position is full-time. You’ll join an awesome team to support our growing customer base.
About The Role
As a Solutions Consultant at Aptean, you will become an expert in one or more of our specialized food and beverage ERP solutions. In this position, you'll be responsible for uncovering and communicating the unique value our products bring to each prospect, customer, and partner. Using a consultative approach, you will dive deep into understanding the business challenges, objectives, and priorities of our clients.
You will serve as the bridge between client requirements and Aptean's industry-leading technology by mapping needs to solutions and demonstrating real-world benefits. Your expertise will be showcased through engaging presentations, compelling proposals, and impactful demonstrations that highlight how Aptean's solution can transform business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct discovery sessions to understand client operations, strategic goals, and key requirements
- Analyze business needs and align the appropriate Aptean solution as part of a consultative selling campaign
- Design and deliver customized product demonstrations that highlight the latest versions of the solution, product features, and business usage
- Customize product demonstrations to the needs of specific prospects (executives, functional managers, evaluation team members, users and IT).
- Provide technical leadership and ownership in managing Proof of Concepts and creating solution demonstrations.
- Help identify, develop, and prove the business case for Aptean maintenance by developing solution demonstrations to meet the requirements of the prospect, emphasizing the benefits of Aptean’s maintenance, and developing alternative solutions to mitigate weaknesses.
- Collaborate closely with account managers throughout the sales cycle, supporting RFPs, solution architecture, and implementation discussions
- Identify and nurture cross-sell and up-sell opportunities to maximize client value
- Represent Aptean at industry events, seminars, and user groups, providing product expertise and live demonstrations
- Facilitate internal and external training sessions to share product knowledge and best practices
- Ensure seamless handoff to implementation teams by clearly articulating customer requirements
- Frequent travel required
About You

To Be Ahead Of The Pack, You Might Have
- Strong experience with food and beverage ERP systems
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and presentation skills. Must be comfortable engaging with C-suite executives and large groups
- Deep understanding of the customer sales cycle and enterprise software environments
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the skill to simplify complex technical concepts
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and project management skills, with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
- Consulting experience including business case development, business analysis, process mapping, and process redesign
- Outstanding technical and proposal writing abilities
- Professional presence and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience supporting technology solutions and implementations is highly valued
