Job summary

Alpha Omega is seeking a Technical Lead - Solutions Architect in Virginia for a hybrid role. You will design and implement technical solutions and lead a team of engineers to deliver high quality software within the FDIC SDLC framework, applying Agile and DevSecOps practices.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate with product owners, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring customer satisfaction and timely delivery. Azure migration experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years as a professional technical lead.
• Experience managing and reporting tier three incidents with SLA/KPI.
• Collaborate with technical monitor and Product Owner to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Main point of contact for customer escalations and complex inquiries.
• Experience migrating to and supporting applications in an Azure environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage agile project team in Operations and Maintenance of work stream applications.
• Suggest methods to improve area operations, efficiency and service to internal/external customers.
• Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery.
• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team.
• Provide technical leadership through coaching and mentorship.
• Ensure smooth functioning of technical operations.
• Monitor and evaluate staff progress.
• Assist with defining job descriptions and recruitment of replacements.
• Set goals and ensure overall client satisfaction.
• Manage development team, technical approach, and software delivery performance.
