Role Description

The Technology Specialist provides deep expertise in one or more areas of Software and Platform Engineering, supporting client account teams across vertical markets. The role involves strategic advisory, client relationship building, and supporting growth initiatives. The ability to work independently and remotely, with willingness to travel, is essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth by leading digital engagement strategies for a business unit exceeding $50M.
• Partner with practices and delivery teams to define and implement transformation strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with client organizations, developing strategies for new business opportunities.
• Engage with VP/CXO decision-makers in Financial Services, Fintech, and Insurance sectors.
• Lead digital transformation projects to improve business processes and customer experience.
• Develop and execute digital strategies to foster business growth and innovation.
• Provide technical expertise in Azure and AWS Cloud solutions.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and new markets.
• Support account leadership in risk mitigation and client conversations.
• Create and implement account growth strategies and business plans.
• Manage growth, business development, and customer relationship activities.
• Support delivery transformation and talent fulfillment.
• Lead operations and ensure process/system hygiene for KPI achievement.
• Participate in lead generation, sales, and RFI/RFP processes.
• Achieve revenue and booking targets.
• Lead negotiations on contracts and outsourcing discussions.

Minimum Requirements

• 14+ years of experience in consulting, practice management, or delivery transformation, with expertise in at least two core areas such as Digital Engineering, Software/Platform Engineering, or Legacy Modernization.
• Strong hands-on experience with Gen AI projects.
• At least 5+ years of experience in Banking & Financial Services, Fintech, or Insurance domains.
• At least 2+ years in business development, presales, or practice growth.
• Proficiency in cloud technologies for scalable solution design.
• Proven track record in developing digital growth strategies.
• Experience in digital engineering, application development, and quality engineering practices.
• Ability to lead and manage deals from $250K to over $10M.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Self-motivated, flexible, and ownership-driven.
• Strong analytical and structured approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to influence senior decision-makers and develop followership.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing large deals in Banking & Financial sectors.
• Knowledge of agentic frameworks is a plus.
• Cloud certifications and Gen AI expertise are advantageous.
