Job summary

Central Steel & Wire is seeking a Solutions Advisor to process customer orders, make sales calls, and build relationships with customers within our metal products division.

You will collaborate with multiple departments, interpret blueprints, and use AutoCAD and Microsoft Office to support customers while delivering excellent service.

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment

Responsibilities

• Build territory/account approach and monitor resources
• Work with different departments to execute account development plans
• Work within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision
• Identify problems and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assess each using standard procedures, and make sound decisions
• Prioritize concurrent customer''s demands and provide satisfactory service to all
• Balance concurrent requests for assistance from internal and external customers for customer service issues
• All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

As a Solutions Advisor with CS&W, you will be responsible for processing customer orders, making sales calls, and working to establish relationships with customers.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Build territory/account approach and monitor resources
• Works with different departments to execute account development plans
• Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision

Requirements

• Prior sales or industry experience is preferred
• Able to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience using AutoCAD
• Excellent professional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) required
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment

Salary: $31.68 - $39.60 per hour. A starting salary higher than $39.60 per hour is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale.
