Job summary

Central Steel & Wire, part of the Ryerson family, seeks a Solutions Advisor in Illinois to process orders, call on customers, and build relationships. You will coordinate with multiple departments to advance account development and ensure high service levels.

Required: sales experience, blueprint reading, AutoCAD proficiency, and strong communication. Competitive hourly pay and robust benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Prior sales or industry experience is preferred
• Able to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience using AutoCAD
• Excellent professional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) required
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment

Responsibilities

• Build territory/account approach and monitor resources
• Works with different departments to execute account development plans
• Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision
• Identifies problems and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures, and makes sound decisions
• Prioritizes concurrent customer's demands and provides satisfactory service to all
• Balances concurrent requests for assistance from internal and external customers for customer service issues
• All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

As a Solutions Advisor with CS&W, you will be responsible for processing customer orders, making sales calls, and working to establish relationships with customers.

Salary: $31.68 - $39.60 per hour. A starting salary higher than $39.60 per hour is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale.
