Job summary

Central Steel & Wire, part of the Ryerson Family of Companies, is seeking a Solutions Advisor in University Park, IL. You will process customer orders, make sales calls, and build strong relationships with customers to drive sales.

The role emphasizes collaboration with multiple departments, reading blueprints, and using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office to support account development in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prior sales or industry experience preferred.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience using AutoCAD.
• Excellent professional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) required.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Build territory/account approach and monitor resources.
• Work with different departments to execute account development plans.
• Work within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision.
• Identify problems and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assess each using standard procedures, and make sound decisions.
• Prioritize concurrent customer demands and provide satisfactory service to all.
• Balance concurrent requests for assistance from internal and external customers for customer service issues.

As a Solutions Advisor with CS&W, you will be responsible for processing customer orders, making sales calls, and working to establish relationships with customers.

Salary: $31.68 - $39.60 per hour. A starting salary higher than $39.60 per hour is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale.
