About The Job

The Solution Sales Executive is responsible for direct sales and business development with Life Sciences organizations, leading to profitable revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop territory and account growth strategies. Identify and drive sales opportunities for LexisNexis Risk products through cross-functional collaboration, educating decision makers and influencers to grow revenue.
  2. Meet or exceed revenue and new business objectives.
  3. Understand market directions and client needs in Life Sciences, with experience in penetrating new customers and expanding within existing accounts.
  4. Own account strategy development and opportunity execution, interacting cross-functionally to develop revenue opportunities.
  5. Lead negotiations through the sales cycle to close deals.
  6. Transition responsibilities smoothly to Account Management and Implementation teams, maintaining relationships and driving adoption, while identifying new sales opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of outside sales experience, including 5+ years working with and selling to life sciences organizations.
  • Life Sciences domain knowledge.
  • Knowledge of clinical research, real-world data, drug development, and marketing.
  • Proven track record in strategic new business sales, including multi-year deals.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong persuasion and relationship management skills at operational and executive levels.
  • Knowledge of Big Data, Cloud Computing, Identity Fraud is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, strategic thinking, and forecasting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities with fluctuating deadlines.
  • Travel up to 50% required.
