Join Our Team as a Life Sciences Sales Executive - Instruments / Consumables (Mid Atlantic US Remote)

Leica Biosystems, a global leader in cancer diagnostics, is seeking a Life Sciences Sales Executive to develop and execute sales strategies for rapid revenue growth and market share expansion in the Mid Atlantic US region. This remote position involves selling our Advanced Staining, Digital Pathology, and Core Histology product lines into life science research labs, including government, biotech, and pharmaceutical sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Achieve annual sales goals by working proactively with territory and regional teams, maintaining accurate opportunity and customer data in SFDC.
2. Deliver high customer satisfaction through sales support, product demos, installations, and training.
3. Manage key accounts and promote Leica Biosystems platforms across various verticals, utilizing competitive insights and conducting independent product presentations.
4. Utilize Danaher Business Systems for continuous process improvement and increased sales.

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum five years of professional sales experience in life sciences consumables or equipment used in spatial biology/histology.
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline preferred.
• Proven experience in contract negotiation and high-level sales to research institutions, government agencies, and clinical labs.
• Ability to work in a matrixed environment, experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM.
• Residency in the Eastern US, preferably North Carolina RTP, DC, Maryland, or Virginia.

Travel and Other Requirements:

• Willingness to travel 50-75%, including overnight stays.
• Valid driver’s license required.
