Job description

Title:Sales Account Manager
Location:This is a remote position that must be located within a 120-mile radius of Philadelphia, PA.

Salary:$116,000 - $169,000

Focus: The Sales Account Manager is responsible formanaging a specific portfolio of existing and prospective accounts in the Northeast Sales Region. In the role you will cultivate relationships and identify opportunities to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate is a sales professional with product and market knowledge who focuses on Value-Based Selling.


Sales Account Manager Essential Job Functions:

  • Creates and maintains proper relationships with customers and internal Olin functional groups, achieving an understanding of expressed and implied needs.
  • Resolves internal and external customer issues and/or concerns, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrates a value-based selling approach.
  • Negotiate and update pricing to capture product value and entice new customers, administer supply agreements/contracts.
  • Uses CRM and other tools to communicate knowledge ofassigned customers, the markets within which they participate, the associated supply chains and the overarching competitive landscape, recommending profitability strategies.
  • Demonstrates continuous active engagement through contribution of creative ideas.

Sales Account Manager Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree* in Business or Technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years sales/account management experience; experience in the chlor-alkali industry is strongly preferred.
  • Proven negotiation skills with a successful track record in closing deals and resolving conflicts.
  • Self-starter, adaptable, and resourceful in overcoming challenges.
  • Effective time management skills with a strong bias for action and the ability to independently plan and complete tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal effectiveness.
  • Ability to travel 20-50% of time, usually overnight – travel level varies with assigned accounts.
  • Sales Force (CRM) experience preferred.
  • Must possess a Valid US Driver's license.
