About the Job:

The Solution Sales Executive is responsible for direct sales and business development with Life Sciences organizations, leading to profitable revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop territory and account growth strategies. Identify and drive sales opportunities for LexisNexis Risk products and services through cross-functional collaboration to educate decision makers and influencers, increasing revenue.
  2. Meet or exceed revenue and new business objectives.
  3. Understand market trends and client needs within the Life Sciences sector, with experience in penetrating new customers and expanding existing accounts.
  4. Develop account strategies, identify revenue opportunities, and collaborate internally to execute opportunities within accounts.
  5. Lead negotiations through the sales cycle to close deals.
  6. Ensure smooth transition to Account Management and Implementation teams, maintain client relationships, and identify additional sales opportunities.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of outside sales experience, including 5+ years with life sciences organizations.
  • Life Sciences domain knowledge, including clinical research, real-world data, and drug development and marketing.
  • Proven track record in strategic new business sales, including multi-year deals.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong persuasion and relationship management skills at operational and executive levels.
  • Knowledge of Big Data, Cloud Computing, and Identity Fraud is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and forecasting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities with fluctuating deadlines and dependencies.
  • Willing to travel up to 50%.
Benefits and Additional Information:
