Summary

We are looking for a Solution Innovation Architect to join our Solution Innovation team, focused on supporting strategic field projects and building ML and AI solutions using our suite of features such as Snowflake Cortex, Snowflake ML, and Snowpark Container Services.

Based in the Sales Engineering organization, you will work with strategic customers to expand their use of the Snowflake Data Cloud, bringing data science use-cases from ideation to deployment. The role involves solution design, hands-on development, machine learning engineering, and strategic advisory work, closely collaborating with customer teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and build AI/ML solutions on the Snowflake platform.
• Support workshops and design thinking sessions to specify advanced use-cases and solutions with customer stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and AI Engineers to understand requirements.
• Design, train, and deploy AI/ML models for customer solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and enablement on Snowflake's AI/ML features to customer teams.
• Stay updated with AI/ML advancements.
• Contribute thought leadership through external content like webinars, presentations, and blogs.

Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 5 years in an AI/ML role, with at least 1 ML model deployed into production.
• Minimum 5 years in a customer-facing technical delivery role.
• Strong understanding of the ML lifecycle, including MLOps and observability.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and Vector Databases.
• Knowledge of the Generative AI landscape and LLM architectures.
• Hands-on scripting with Python and libraries like Pandas, HuggingFace, XGBoost, PyTorch, TensorFlow, SciKit-Learn.
• Skills in data cleansing, working with large datasets, feature engineering, model optimization, and lifecycle management.
• Excellent presentation skills for technical and executive audiences.
• University degree in data science, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent experience.

Bonus Points

• Experience with Databricks/Apache Spark.
• Experience with ETL data pipelines.
• Vertical expertise in industries like FSI, Retail, Manufacturing, etc.

Additional Information

Compensation ranges from $136,000 to $201,200 base salary, plus bonus and equity. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), paid holidays, parental leave, and more.
