Build the future of the AI Data Cloud. Join the Snowflake team.

We are looking for individuals with a strong background in data science and cloud architecture to join our Professional Services team. Your role will involve working with customers to expand their use of the Snowflake Data Cloud, bringing data science pipelines from ideation to deployment using Snowflake's features and its extensive partner ecosystem. You will advise clients on best practices for implementing Data Science workloads on Snowflake, design solutions based on requirements, and coordinate with customer teams and Systems Integrators to ensure successful outcomes.

As a Solutions Architect - AI/ML at Snowflake, you will:

1. Serve as a technical expert on all aspects of Snowflake related to AI/ML workloads.
2. Advise customers on best practices for Data Science workloads on Snowflake.
3. Build, deploy, and manage ML pipelines using Snowflake features and partner tools based on customer requirements.
4. Work hands-on with SQL, Python, Java, and/or Scala to build proof-of-concept demonstrations of implementation techniques and best practices.
5. Follow best practices, including knowledge transfer to enable customers to extend Snowflake's capabilities independently.
6. Maintain a deep understanding of competitive and complementary AI/ML technologies and vendors, positioning Snowflake effectively.
7. Collaborate with System Integrator consultants to position and deploy Snowflake in customer environments.
8. Provide guidance on resolving customer-specific technical challenges.
9. Support the development of expertise within the Professional Services team.
10. Work with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake's products and marketing efforts.

Our Ideal Solution Architect - AI/ML will have:

1. At least 5 years of experience working with customers in pre-sales or post-sales technical roles.
2. Excellent presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, including impromptu and structured presentations.
3. Thorough understanding of the Data Science life-cycle: feature engineering, model development, deployment, and management.
4. Strong knowledge of MLOps, including deployment and monitoring technologies and methodologies.
5. Experience with at least one public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
6. Experience with Data Science tools such as AWS Sagemaker, AzureML, Dataiku, Datarobot, H2O, Jupyter Notebooks.
7. Scripting experience with SQL and at least one of Python, Java, or Scala.
8. Experience with libraries like Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, SciKit-Learn.
9. University degree in data science, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent experience.

Bonus points for:

1. Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and Vector Databases.
2. Experience with Databricks/Apache Spark.
3. Experience implementing data pipelines using ETL tools.
4. Experience working directly in a Data Science role.
5. Proven success in enterprise software sales or deployment.
6. Vertical expertise in sectors such as FSI, Retail, Manufacturing, etc.
