Job summary

Star Seven Six is seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer Lead to own the technical direction for its business applications portfolio. You will oversee architecture, production support, monitoring, and lifecycle management across data‑dense pricing and risk platforms.

The role emphasizes leadership without direct people management, mentoring engineers, and coordinating with SMEs, external providers, and enterprise technology teams to ensure reliable operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
10+ years of software development, application engineering, and production‑support experience with technical leadership.
Advanced relational‑database experience (SQL Server/Oracle) and data‑driven apps.
Experience leading high‑severity incident response and root‑cause analysis.
Experience with CI/CD, source control, deployment, and environment promotion.

Responsibilities

Own technical architecture and engineering direction for the application portfolio.
Lead complex production incident diagnosis, recovery, and corrective action planning.
Establish and maintain technical standards for development, testing, deployment, monitoring, security, and documentation.
Mentor application‑support engineers and build cross‑training coverage.
Coordinate with external providers, market data services, and enterprise teams.
Lead design and implementation of enhancements, integrations, monitoring, and debt reduction.
