Job summary

Roadrunner is seeking a Lead Enterprise Application Engineer to own the performance and evolution of key vendor applications, leading implementations from requirements through stabilization and aligning business needs with secure, scalable solutions.

You will drive enterprise reliability, manage vendor relationships and roadmaps, and mentor a growing engineering team while delivering high-visibility, auditable, and scalable systems in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent IT experience.
• 6+ years in application support, systems administration, or related technical discipline.
• Experience leading software implementations or major upgrades.
• Experience translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience managing third-party technology vendors and SLAs.
• Strong understanding of APIs, EDI, data feeds, SQL, and scripting.
• Leadership or mentoring experience; able to set standards and develop technical talent.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise application reliability and incident resolution.
• Lead vendor application implementations and major upgrades.
• Strengthen integrations and technical architecture with APIs and EDI.
• Act as product owner for vendor platforms, manage roadmaps and backlogs.
• Build a scalable application engineering function and mentor juniors.
