Job summary

Star Seven Six, Ltd is seeking a Solution Engineer Lead – Business Applications to serve as the principal technical owner for the company's application portfolio, guiding technical direction and coordinating with SMEs, infrastructure teams, external providers, and distributed development resources.

The role is a hands-on technical leadership position at the intersection of software engineering, production support, data processing, system integration, and business operations.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of relevant software development, application engineering, or production-support experience with demonstrated technical leadership.
• Advanced relational database experience with SQL Server or Oracle; data-intensive applications.
• Experience with REST APIs, integrations, and data interfaces.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading incident response.
• Ability to provide after-hours production support when needed.

Responsibilities

• Own technical architecture and engineering direction for the application portfolio.
• Lead complex production incidents diagnosis, recovery, and corrective action.
• Establish and maintain development, testing, deployment, monitoring standards.
• Mentor application-support engineers and ensure cross-training.
• Coordinate releases and upgrade plans with internal and external partners.
• Partner with business leaders to prioritize production needs.
