Job summary

Atlassian seeks a seasoned professional to collaborate with Advisory Services and guide customers through strategic outcomes using Atlassian products. You will work with clients to solve business challenges, identify expansion opportunities, and build deep product and industry expertise.

You will promote best practices, tailor guidance for diverse stakeholders, and travel up to 30% domestically or internationally to support events and customer engagements.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience within or working with SaaS companies.
• 2+ years in customer-facing roles engaging with customer stakeholders from admins to executives.
• Demonstrated expertise in Data Center Platform (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bitbucket, Crowd).
• Background in cloud computing architectures, integration methods, product upgrades, and security considerations.

Job description

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with your peers in Advisory Services to align on strategic outcomes that deliver exceptional service to our customers

• Partner with customers to help solve their business challenges and achieve their internal goals through Atlassian products, practices, and solutions

• Identify and promote opportunities for service and product expansion within a client’s organization

• Cultivate deep industry and solution expertise, staying up-to-date with evolving best practices that support different types of teams

• Create technical solution content and prescriptive guidance to support customer goals and outcomes in one or more Atlassian solution areas

• Partner with non-customer-facing teams across Atlassian to advocate for customer needs and innovative solutions that address their business drivers

• Spend up to 30% of your time traveling domestically, and in some cases internationally, for both internal and customer-facing events

Your required background:

• 4-6 years of experience within or working with SaaS companies

• 2+ years of experience in customer-facing roles where you’ve engaged with and influenced customer stakeholders that range from technical administrators to executive leadership

• Demonstrated expertise in our Data Center Platform, including:

  • Experience administering Atlassian DC ecosystems and applications like Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bitbucket, Crowd, etc

  • Background in cloud computing architectures, integration methods, product upgrades, and associated security considerations

• Demonstrated expertise in Cloud Platform, including

  • Experience migrating to, architecting, and implementing Atlassian Cloud ecosystems at scale

  • Subject matter expertise in SaaS based-architectures, integration methods, and associated security considerations

  • Experience directing stakeholders through Atlassian Cloud transformation and adoption at an enterprise scale

• You're fluent in English, and nice to have a second language such as Spanish, French, or Portuguese for business communication

• Able to align your work schedule with US East and Central time zones

• Experienced in working with Public Sector customers

• Experienced in working on cross-team projects, engaging with Sales, Product, Support, and other teams

• Experienced in working with large customers in a consulting or technical expert capacity

• Comfortable coaching best practices and tailoring curated guidance for stakeholders to facilitate those practices
