Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking Solids Control Technicians to operate solids control equipment on drill rigs in a high travel, rotating shift role. The position supports safety, environmental and operations policies across sites in the Northeast US and beyond.

The role requires hands-on experience with solids control, heavy equipment operation and the ability to travel extensively. A valid driver’s license is required; health benefits and growth opportunities accompany full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Previous solids control experience in the Northeast US or construction experience.
• Heavy equipment experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work both day and night rotating shifts.
• Ability to travel extensively as required by the business.

Responsibilities

• Promote Clean Harbors safety, environmental and operations policies.
• Maintains health and safety as the number one goal by following policies and procedures.
• Repair, maintain, set up and rig down solids control equipment.
• Service and maintain solids control equipment on a weekly basis.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical issues and other arising problems.
• Complete required paperwork daily (safety documents, JSA's, work orders, service records).
• Operate heavy equipment (loaders, excavators and forklifts).
• Develop and maintain customer relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
