Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking Solids Control Technicians to operate solids control equipment on drill rigs. This is a high travel position with rotating day/night shifts in the local area and strong safety emphasis.

Candidates should have solids control or construction background, heavy equipment experience, and a valid driver’s license. The role includes servicing equipment, paperwork, and customer relations as core duties.

Qualifications

• Previous solids control experience in the Northeast US or construction is preferred.
• Heavy equipment experience is an asset.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to work day and night rotating shifts.
• Willingness to travel for extended periods as needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible and motivated to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote Clean Harbors safety, environmental and operations policies.
• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority.
• Repair, maintain, set up and rig down solids control equipment.
• Service and maintain solids control equipment weekly.
• Troubleshoot minor electrical issues and other problems as they arise.
• Complete safety documents, work orders and daily reports.
• Operate heavy equipment (loaders, excavators, forklifts).
• Develop and manage customer relationships.
