Job summary

The City of Peoria is seeking an energetic Solid Waste Coordinator to join the Solid Waste Division. You will use data analytics and route/fleet management tools to maximize efficiency and balance routes. The role includes closely training operators on in-truck technology and monitoring effectiveness.

You will develop productivity measurements and provide data-driven recommendations to the manager, coordinating with staff, residents, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of data collection/analysis/reporting experience.
• 1 year of GIS mapping software or AVL systems experience.
• Working knowledge of solid waste vehicles and equipment.
• An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.
• Valid AZ Driver’s License upon hire.
