Job summary

City of St. Cloud, FL is hiring an Administrative Operations Supervisor for the Solid Waste Division to coordinate administrative and operational activities, support Recycling, Collection, and Transfer Station operations, and ensure policy compliance.

Under the Solid Waste Superintendent, you’ll manage staff, oversee customer service channels, and help develop budgets and performance reports while maintaining city values of accountability and service.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in business administration or related field.
• Four (4) progressive supervisory years of experience.
• Two (2) years of call-center customer service experience.
• Valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, directs, schedules, and evaluates staff; provides guidance and corrective action as appropriate.
• Oversees administrative and customer service operations for solid waste programs.
• Coordinates intake, tracking, and resolution of customer service requests and work orders.
• Coordinates administrative activities among customer service, collection operations, scalehouse, transfer station, recycling, and other solid waste functions.
• Monitors performance measures to identify workload trends and opportunities for process improvement.
• Assists Superintendent in planning, budgeting, and operating solid waste programs.
• Prepares and submits required reports to regulatory agencies and departments.
