Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics, based in California, seeks an experienced pharmaceutical field sales representative to manage a defined territory, develop strategic plans, and partner with field and home-office colleagues to improve patient outcomes.

The role requires 5+ years in pharma/biotech sales, a bachelor's degree, and strong analytic skills. Travel within the territory is 60–80% (within 50 miles preferred). Compensation includes incentive programs and potential equity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5 years’ experience in pharma/biotech/healthcare or similarly complex sales environments; Associate level: limited prior sales experience acceptable.
• Proven high performance selling to large accounts/key customers.
• Self-starter with strong analytic/problem-solving skills and ethical/compliance leadership.

Responsibilities

• Resolve account challenges with tailored solutions.
• Build a strategic territory plan aligned to shared priorities to drive product demand and improve patient outcomes.
• Partner with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office colleagues to provide access support.
• Use market/competitive knowledge to anticipate opportunities and respond with agility.
• Use territory data and trends to find local insights and lead customer engagements (virtual or in person).
• Facilitate planning sessions with key stakeholders to solve complex issues across functions.
• Provide real-time access support and work with Patient Specialty Services (PSS).
• Use digital tools and omni-channel strategies for personalized outreach.
