Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Production Technician to support the solid rocket motor line by assembling inert components, casting propellants, and performing final motor assemblies. You will work with engineering, quality, and safety teams, and must call a Stop Work when necessary to protect safety and reliability.

The role requires handling hazardous materials, strong attention to detail, and adaptability to new designs with input on process improvements and work instructions revisions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building solid rocket motors or manufacturing industry experience.
• Experience in a regulated environment (AS9100, ISO) and understanding personal warranty in operations Buy-off.
• Proficiency with reading and using equipment such as calipers, scales, and gages.
• Rigid adherence to safety precautions in all working environments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hand-tools and adhesives.
• Proficient with computer applications.
• Ability to work at a fast pace in medium to heavy duty assembly.
• Must be physically able to climb stairs, bend, kneel, twist, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare SRM cases for casting operations.
• Perform nozzle and igniter assembly operations.
• Install igniter and/or nozzle assemblies onto solid rocket motors.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineering, quality, and safety on process refinement and improvements.
• Data collection and data entry.
• Clean and reset multiple types of tooling.
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
