Job summary

Anduril Industries is hiring a Production Technician to support its solid rocket motor business by building inert components, mixing propellants, and performing final assemblies. The role requires comfort with hazardous chemicals, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to stop work when safety concerns arise.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience building solid rocket motors or manufacturing.
• Experience in regulated environments (AS9100, ISO) and understanding of warranty when performing an operation “buy-off.”
• Proficiency with reading and using calipers, scales, and gages.
• Rigid adherence to safety precautions in all working environments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hand-tools and standard industrial adhesives.
• Proficient with computer applications.
• Ability to work at a fast pace, medium to heavy duty assembly, technical environment.
• Capable of lifting at least 40 pounds and withstand frequent repetitive movement of hands with a variety of tooling.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare SRM cases for casting operations.
• Perform nozzle and igniter assembly operations.
• Install igniter and/or nozzle assemblies onto multiple different types of solid rocket motors.
• Work with design and manufacturing engineering, quality, and safety departments on process refinement and continuous improvement activities.
• Data collection and data entry.
• Clean and reset multiple types of tooling.
• Ensure the working environment is kept clean and organized.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
