Job summary

HiveWatch in El Segundo, CA is seeking an IT Manager to own corporate IT end-to-end, including Google Workspace, endpoint management, network operations, and cybersecurity partnerships. You will directly run day-to-day IT as the sole internal resource while directing MSPs for specialized work.

The role requires hands-on expertise across IAM, networking, and cloud environments, plus experience with SOC 2 compliance and vendor management. On-site HQ office in El Segundo; salary range provided.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT with ownership of corporate IT for a growing organization
• Strong hands-on networking experience with firewalls, switches, wireless, VPNs, DNS/DHCP
• Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 and managing endpoints via MDM
• Comfort operating as a team of one with self-direction and prioritization
• Technical foundation across endpoint management, IAM/SSO, networking, and cloud
• Experience with SaaS licensing, vendor contracts, SLAs, and renewals
• Experience owning IT security/compliance efforts (SOC 2 or similar)
• MacOS, Linux, and Windows environments experience
• Experience with on-prem virtualization platforms and major cloud providers

Responsibilities

• Own the full IT support lifecycle as the sole IT resource, escalating to vendors when needed
• Handle onboarding/offboarding, accounts provisioning, and hardware lifecycle
• Oversee endpoint management and policy for devices
• Administer policy for Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, license governance
• Manage corporate network including firewalls, switching, wireless, VPN and DNS
• Maintain office internet connectivity and uptime; manage ISP relationships
• Oversee engineering tooling provisioning and licensing governance (GitHub, SaaS)
• Develop IT strategy and roadmap aligned with company growth
• Manage IT vendor/MSP ecosystem, SLAs, renewals, and escalations
• Coordinate office facilities projects with vendors and support HQ in El Segundo
