Job summary

Fralock, an engineered solutions provider, seeks a Soldering Technician I for its Valencia, CA site. You will solder parts onto flexible laminations, assemble, test, troubleshoot, rework, and repair electrical components per process specs. Cross-train across stations, train others, and ensure quality, safety, and on-time delivery.

You will perform in-process and final inspections, support composite layup processes, and maintain clean room practices while following ITAR/EAR requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• J-STD-001 Certificate with an “S” addendum (Space).
• Three (3) + years of manufacturing assembly experience.
• Three (3) + years of hand soldering experience.
• Experience with through-hole and SMT components.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and layup instructions.

Responsibilities

• Reads and follows detailed work instructions and customer specifications.
• Solders parts onto laminations using hand tools and equipment.
• Troubleshoots with oscilloscope and multimeter; documents results.
• Maintains J-STD-001 training and operator certification.
• Inspects parts and finished products for quality and conformance.
• Supports engineering in testing and troubleshooting new designs.
