Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Solder Technician in Rocklin, CA to join a leading electronics manufacturing team. You will support assembly operations, use manual soldering skills, and ensure quality through careful inspection and rework as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with soldering SMT and through-hole components.
• Ability to read schematics and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Basic understanding of electronic assembly processes.

Responsibilities

• Solder and de-solder SMT and through-hole components.
• Install/remove discrete components on PCA using soldering irons and hot air techniques.
• Follow production drawings, sample assemblies, and verbal instructions with general supervision.
• Interpret and work from electromechanical schematics, drawings, work instructions, and bills of material to understand the required parts and steps needed to complete the assigned assembly.
• Rework and repair defective units rejected by inspection or test personnel.
