Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Solder and de-solder SMT and through-hole components.
• Install/remove discrete components on PCA using soldering irons and hot air techniques.
• Follow production drawings, sample assemblies, and verbal instructions with general supervision.
• Interpret and work from electromechanical schematics, drawings, work instructions, and bills of material to understand the required parts and steps needed to complete the assigned assembly.
• Rework and repair defective units rejected by inspection or test personnel.

Our client, a leading organization in the electronics manufacturing industry, is seeking a Solder Technician to join their team. As a Solder Technician, you will be part of the production department supporting electronic assembly operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong manual dexterity, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Solder Technician

Location: Rocklin, CA

Pay Range: $24hr

Shift: 1st shift

What's the Job?

• Solder and de-solder through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT) components.
• Install and/or remove discrete components on printed circuit assemblies (PCA’s) using traditional soldering irons and hot air techniques.
• Follow production drawings, sample assemblies, and verbal instructions with general supervision.
• Interpret and work from electromechanical schematics, drawings, work instructions, and bills of material to understand the required parts and steps needed to complete the assigned assembly.
• Rework and repair defective units rejected by inspection or test personnel.
