Manpower in Rocklin, CA is seeking a Solder Technician to join its production team. You will support electronic assembly operations, solder and de-solder through-hole and SMT components, and follow drawings and instructions under supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience with soldering and de-soldering electronic components, including SMT and through-hole techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Basic understanding of electronic assembly processes.
• Ability to work effectively under supervision and follow established workmanship practices.

Responsibilities

• Solder and de-solder through-hole and SMT components on PCAs.
• Install and/or remove discrete components on PCAs using soldering irons and hot air techniques.
• Follow production drawings, sample assemblies, and verbal instructions with general supervision.
• Interpret electromechanical schematics and bills of materials to identify parts and steps.
• Rework and repair defective units rejected by inspection or test personnel.
