Job summary

Cinterra is seeking a Superintendent to lead day-to-day operations on a utility-scale solar project. You will collaborate with the Construction Manager, oversee crews on site, manage safety, quality, and schedule, and coordinate with customers.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in electrical construction for solar, knowledge of NFPA 70E and OSHA, ability to read plans, and travel as needed. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of construction management in electrical, utility-scale solar experience.
• Familiar with OSHA regulations; OSHA training and certifications preferred.
• NFPA 70E Certification preferred.
• Must read and interpret contracts, plans, and specifications.
• Strong time management and collaborative work style.
• Ability to travel frequently and work long hours.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate safety as a core value and support safety program.
• Assist site manager with budget development and production rate estimation.
• Supervise foremen and field crews; maintain schedule, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Review project documents and direct construction activities.
• Attend progress meetings and assist with weekly forecasting.
• Ensure project records are accurate and properly maintained.

Education

High School diploma or GED

Advanced education preferred

Construction management experience (electrical, utility-scale solar)

OSHA regulations familiarity

NFPA 70E certification (preferred)

Contracts, plans & specs interpretation

Time management & multitasking
