Job summary

Cinterra in the United States is seeking an apprentice to support site operations on utility-scale solar projects. You will assist supervisors, foremen, and electricians, helping with installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and calibrations while enrolled in a four-year registered apprenticeship.

The program combines classroom learning with hands-on training to prepare you for journey-worker certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• US work authorization.
• Willing to work long hours and travel as needed.
• Experience reading and interpreting plans is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate safety as a core value and support the safety program.
• Willingness to learn electrical trade and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and protecting project materials and equipment; report shortages or damages.
• Safely operate equipment and assist with site logistics and electrical installations.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues; interpret blueprints/schematics.
• Provide support to other divisions as needed and communicate professionally with customers.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and handle special assignments as directed.
