Job summary

Cinterra is seeking a registered apprentice to provide site support on utility-scale solar projects. You will assist supervisors, foremen, and electricians, participate in our four-year apprenticeship program blending classroom learning with on-the-job training, and prepare for journey-worker certification.

The role requires eagerness to learn, strong time management, and adherence to safety protocols, with long hours and potential travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (preferred).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to work long and/or extended hours including weekends, and travel full-time.
• Experience reading and interpreting plans and specifications (preferred).
• Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Collaborative work style and commitment to completing tasks.
• Willing and able to endure working in the elements.
• Pass a background test and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate safety as a core value and support the safety program.
• Learn electrical trade and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Receive, store, and protect project materials; report shortages/damage.
• Safely utilize equipment and assist with site logistics.
• Help with electrical installations and troubleshooting.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics for project work.
• Provide support to other divisions as needed.
• Maintain professional communication with customers.
