Job summary

Cinterra is seeking an apprentice to provide site support on utility-scale solar projects. You will work under supervision, assist with installations, troubleshooting, and calibrations while enrolled in a comprehensive four-year registered apprenticeship program.

The program blends classroom learning with on-the-job training to prepare you for journey-worker certification. The role emphasizes safety, timely task execution, and strong communication with project teams and customers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (preferred).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be able to travel full-time and work long hours, including weekends.
• Some experience reading and interpreting plans or specifications (preferred).
• Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate safety as a core value and support the safety program.
• Willingness to learn electrical trade.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Receive, store, and protect project material and equipment; report shortages/damages.
• Safely use equipment assigned to the project facility.
• Assist supervisors with site logistic activities and electrical installations.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues with leadership guidance.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Provide support to other divisions as needed.
• Communicate with customers professionally at all times.
• Demonstrate a professional demeanor and uphold project safety values.
• Handle special assignments as requested by leadership.
