Job summary

Cinterra is seeking an apprentice to support field crews on utility-scale solar projects. You will assist with installations, troubleshooting, and calibrations as part of a four-year registered apprenticeship program combining classroom learning with on-the-job training.

Candidates should be eager to learn, follow instructions, and work extended hours, including weekends. A strong safety focus and willingness to travel are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to read and interpret plans preferences.
• Strong time management and safety awareness.
• Willing and able to travel and work long/extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations on utility-scale solar projects.
• Assist with installations, troubleshooting, repairs and calibrations.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Receive, store, and protect project materials and equipment; report shortages.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to guide work tasks.
• Assist supervisors with site logistics and electrical installations.
• Provide support to other divisions as needed.
• Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
