Job summary

Cinterra seeks an apprentice to provide site support on utility-scale solar projects. You will assist electricians, follow instructions, and help with installations, troubleshooting, and calibrations. You will be enrolled in a four-year registered apprenticeship combining classroom learning with on-the-job training.

The role emphasizes safety, time management, and the ability to work in varying conditions. Travel and long hours may be required as part of this field-based program.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (preferred).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to work long hours including weekends; willing to travel full-time.
• Experience reading and interpreting plans and specifications (preferred).
• Strong time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Collaborative work style and commitment to completing the job.
• Willing and able to endure working in the elements.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and protect project material and equipment; document shortages and damage.
• Safely utilize equipment assigned to project facility.
• Assist supervisors in completing site logistics activities.

• Assist with identifying, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical issues.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Provide support and assistance to other divisions as needed.
• Communicate with customers professionally and courteously.
• Support safety as a core value during the project.

• Handle special assignments and other duties as requested by leadership.
