Job summary

EDF power solutions North America is hiring Renewable Energy Technicians to perform maintenance, repair, and operations on wind, PV, and storage assets. Training will occur in Albert Lea, MN, with travel and expenses provided. Roles range from Technician 1 to Technician 3, placed by experience level.

Technicians will work across Willow Springs and Cuyama solar sites in California, following strict safety protocols and collaborating with teams to ensure asset integrity and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Tech 1 requires basic computer skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Tech 2 requires schematics knowledge, multimeter use, and electrical/mechanical components knowledge.
• Tech 3 requires deep generation theory knowledge and advanced electrical safety expertise.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety protocols and lead site safety assessments.
• Maintain company property and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Complete daily maintenance logs, work orders, time tracking and warranty/inventory documentation.
• Attend required safety and technical training.
• Maintain system integrity and support site budget by seeking efficiencies.
• Tech 2-5 participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for monitoring and fault identification.
