Deriva Energy is seeking a Solar Technician at the Little Trout Solar project, with duties spanning site rounds, maintenance of PV systems, and LOTO compliance. The role supports multiple Deriva projects and participates in startup activities for new sites.

The position requires strong electrical/electronic troubleshooting skills, familiarity with inverter systems, and the ability to read schematics. On-site work in Michigan with occasional travel and on-call duties is expected.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required; Level I/II/III training tracks available within 1 year.
• 2+ years related work experience for Level II; 4+ years for Level III as per job description.
• Strong background in electrical and electronic equipment troubleshooting and repair.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily operational rounds and maintenance tasks across sites.
• Troubleshoot and repair PV system components and inverters.
• Coordinate Lock-Out-Tag-Out procedures and safety protocols.
• Assist startup activities for new sites and commissioning tasks.
• Maintain records on EH&S, equipment status, and service reports.
• Travel to multiple sites as needed and participate in on-call rotation.
