Job summary

Deriva Energy is seeking a Solar Technician to support multiple Deriva Solar projects, including startup and long-term operation. This role involves rotating on-call duties, safety adherence, and hands-on maintenance across solar facilities in the region.

Responsibilities include daily rounds, inverter and array maintenance, and coordination with the Operations Center. The position requires readiness for site travel, reading technical manuals, and applying high voltage safety practices.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required with ability to complete Level I performance measures and training within 1 year.
• Associates/Technical degree or 4 years relevant experience preferred; ability to complete Level II/III measures within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operational rounds and maintenance tasks including LOTOs and contractor oversight.
• Carry out inverter/array maintenance and routine preventive maintenance.
• Communicate plant/equipment status to Operations Center; travel to sites as needed.
• Lead integration efforts for new sites to meet Deriva standards before turnover.
