Position: Field Operations Team Leader - Solar PV

Role Overview: Solar Technician I

As a Solar Technician I, your day will include:

• Supporting project performance through preventive & corrective maintenance
• Collaborating with team leaders and management to resolve site issues
• Managing contractors and ensuring safety procedures
• Working with electrical systems, PV solar, and substations
• Traveling to site as needed based in Oak Ridge, Louisiana

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with troubleshooting and maintenance activities
• Supporting safety and environmental compliance
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements
• Managing warranty claims and documentation
• Coordinating inventory and procurement
• Adhering to safety standards and regulations
• Performing administrative tasks and supporting team needs

Qualifications:

• Experience with electrical systems, PV solar, and substations
• Knowledge of OSHA standards, NFPA 70e, Lockout/Tagout, etc.
• Computer skills: CMMS, DAS/SCADA, MS Office
• Residence near Oak Ridge, LA, or within 45 minutes
• Certifications: NFPA 70E, OSHA 30 (preferred, can be obtained within 90 days)
• Educational background: College or Technical degree (plus)
• Strong communication, safety commitment, and problem-solving skills

Work Environment:

• Working around energized equipment, hazardous materials
• Occasional lifting, non-standard hours, outdoor work at heights
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain TWIC within 90 days
